This spring, our community gathered to celebrate one of the most meaningful milestones in the life of our school: High School Graduation. As our seniors crossed the stage, they carried more than just diplomas – they were wrapped in the love of their teachers, the pride of their families, and the blessing of a community that has championed them every step of the way. And above all, they stood in the presence of a faithful God who has guided, shaped, and sustained them throughout their Daystar journey.
In his commencement address, Pastor Jonathan Brooks left our graduates with three powerful truths:
- You are a child of God—and that identity is enough.
- You are not simply called to a degree or a career—you are called to a purpose.
- Hold fast to hope—for God promises a future filled with hope and possibility (Jeremiah 29:11).
These words captured the heart of Daystar: a place where students are known, loved, and equipped. Not just for college, but for a life of service and love.
And the fruit of that mission speaks for itself:
This year, 100% of our seniors graduated, were accepted to college, and earned college credit. Of those who pursued the rigorous International Baccalaureate (IB) Diploma, 70% received it, a remarkable achievement that reflects both academic excellence and deep personal commitment.
We couldn’t be prouder of the Class of 2025, and we can’t wait to see how they will shine in the world.
