Choosing a high school is a significant decision for your student and your family. We believe finances should not be the only thing standing between a student and an education where they can thrive.
All-inclusive tuition
Daystar’s 2026–27 High School tuition is $21,600, with an all-inclusive tuition model designed to make the true cost of attending as predictable as possible. Tuition includes the experiences that make a Daystar education distinctive, including IB programming, Learning Excursions throughout Chicago, activities, and annual domestic or international XP travel, with the exception of a small travel deposit.

Tuition After Scholarship
We believe an exceptional High School education should be within reach for more families. The Daystar Early Decision Scholarship provides eligible domestic students with a $6,100 scholarship toward 2027–28 High School tuition.
Students who apply, are accepted, and complete the Daystar enrollment process by December 15 will automatically receive the scholarship. No separate scholarship application is required.
The Daystar Early Decision Scholarship reflects our commitment to making a Daystar High School education more accessible while helping families who are ready to make an early commitment plan confidently for the year ahead.
Need-Based Financial Aid
Additional need-based financial aid is available to qualifying families. Daystar has a longstanding commitment to socioeconomic diversity because we believe students learn better in a community that brings together families with different backgrounds, experiences, and perspectives.
Families seeking first-round financial aid consideration must complete enrollment and submit their financial aid application by December 15. First-round financial aid decisions will be made in mid-January.
Applying early gives your family the best opportunity to understand what a Daystar education will actually cost before making plans for the year ahead.
Applications for the 2027–28 school year open November 1. Families seeking first-round consideration for financial aid and the Daystar Early Decision Scholarship must submit an application and complete enrollment by December 15.

High School Open House
This isn’t your typical school Open House.
Join current students, teachers, and school leaders for an evening around the table. Share dinner inspired by this year’s XP destinations, hear directly from students about their High School experience, and discover what a Christ-centered, International Baccalaureate education can make possible.
While parents dig deeper into academics, IB, faith formation, college preparation, student life, tuition, and financial aid, prospective students will experience a little of how we learn: asking big questions, considering different perspectives, collaborating, creating, and putting ideas into action.
