Most students go to high school as a pathway. To college, to a career, to what comes next… That’s certainly part of what we do at Daystar. But families choose Daystar for something more. They choose it for the kind of difference it makes in a student’s life. Daystar High School looks different, and that difference is intentional. Through the rigor of the International Baccalaureate (IB), students develop college-level thinking, not just test-taking skills. Through our commitment to using the city and the world as our classroom, learning extends beyond our walls into Chicago and the world. In a small, relational community, students are known, supported, and challenged. And ultimately, students are invited to see their education as something purposeful—learning to recognize both the beauty and brokenness of the world and to use what they know in ways that serve God, neighbor, and the world God loves.
